— Starting with next week’s Bible discussion (Genesis 19-22), our contributors will be joined by a different visiting pastor each week, to give additional insight into the passage. Next Wednesday’s minister will be Captain Steve Carroll of the Stapleton, Staten Island corps of the Salvation Army.
— A new bweinh.com feature is coming this weekend!
— An update on the Bweinh.com NCAA Tournament Pool finds this humble correspondent in the lead — on the strength of four correct Final Four picks. In fact, I’m the world’s newest huge Ohio State fan, as tonight I discovered that a Buckeye victory over Georgetown will almost guarantee me a victory in the Law Review/Science & Technology Journal pool at the law school! And if Ohio State and UCLA both get it done, I’m a lock, and I may or may not be a little richer next month.

Hey Steve–does Jones’s “Chalk” entry count? If not, I can still win (and catch you) when Captain Noah and His Magical Ark come raining down on your sorry Bruins–
MJ
So what’s it like to correctly pick the final four? I imagine it’s like a nice tall glass of strawberry milk that’s just cold enough, but not too cold to give you brain freeze (in which case it would be strawberry ice cream). I assume it’s refreshing and gratifying. One day I hope to drink from that glass. One day.
I can tell you what it’s like to pick no Final Four teams correctly: lousy. Especially when losing your last hope to get one right also happens to be your favorite team blowing the regional final.
Also, my chalk entry does not count for any competitive purposes. It was merely posted as a measuring stick for the other brackets.
Josh it must be like sour milk to lose to a guy who doesn’t even like College basketball
Well, Mike, it looks like it’s Fla-OSU for all the marbles! I was out tonight and just finished watching the games on tape. I even ate at Applebee’s and still managed to avoid learning the result of either semifinal!
