I hope my kids don’t get told there’s no Santa during the night. I could be murdered in my bed. I’m too afraid to go to sleep now.
We never pretended they were real with our kids because we didn’t want to confuse them but we never cared what anyone else was doing. Someone actually challenged me about it at work once and their main point was that I followed Syracuse and they have two mascots, The Dome Ranger and the orange thing and it was hypocritical for me to not let my kids have two mascots for Christmas. Yeah, Jesus is just a mascot.
Which puts The Resurrection squarely in the realm of The Tomahawk Chop.
