Everything I can’t stand about Faulkner and prime-time television, helpfully combined for ease of hatred. “Who, in their declination, an inverse oath had sworn, to which the old ways were a gnomon of luminosity in a secular age of flux and declination betokened and common only to saints.” Uh…yeah…

An interesting, mostly fair piece on a Christian magician convention. “I carry tons of equipment in order to do my shows. If Jesus was a magician, you’d have to visualize 2,000 years ago Jesus and the disciples walking through the dusty streets of Galilee wearing sandals, with three diesel trucks behind them carrying all their equipment.”

And on the heels of a similar article about the Democratic primary, Jim Geraghty now helpfully proves that the media assault on Sarah Palin isn’t motivated by sexism at all, not even a little bit, sweetie, so just don’t worry your pretty little head about it anymore.
