    The next day…

MT and AK have since been called for McCain. No movement in MO, IN, or NC.

In the Senate, GA’s Chambliss is up 50-46-4 over his Democratic and Libertarian challengers. Coleman and Franken are tied at 42% each with a third party receiving 15% of the vote. In the night’s biggest remaining piece of news, Ted Stevens leads his opponent 48-47. Each of these races has 99% reporting but has yet to be called by CNN. In Oregon, with 74% in the Republican is up 48% to 46%. Also not called yet.

In the House, CNN gives Dems 251, Reps 173, with 11 seats still counting.

    On the ballot:

AZ, FL ban gay marriage. AR bans gay adoption.

    MI allows stem cell research.

    SD refuses limits on abortions.

    WA supports doctor-assisted suicide.

I think it’s safe to conclude CA banned gay marriage too.

I just go by what they’ve called, but yeah. That’s probably right.
